How scoring works
Each participant has two teams — one from Hat 1 (top-ranked 24) and one from Hat 2 (lower-ranked 24). Points scale with how strong a team was seeded: lower-ranked teams score more for the same achievement.
| Event | Hat 1 Top-ranked 24 | Hat 2 Lower-ranked 24 |
|---|---|---|
| Each group-stage win | 1 | 2 |
| Each group-stage draw | 1 | 1 |
| Reaches Round of 32 | 3 | 5 |
| Reaches Round of 16 | 6 | 9 |
| Reaches Quarter-final | 10 | 14 |
| Reaches Semi-final | 15 | 20 |
| Runner-up (lost in final) | 22 | 28 |
| Champion | 30 | 38 |
The rules in plain English
- Group stage: every win and draw earns points, scaled by your team's pot.
- Knockouts: stage bonuses are not cumulative — a team scores only the bonus for the furthest stage it reaches. Reaching the QF replaces the R16 bonus, not stacks on top of it.
- Third-place play-off: both losing semi-finalists keep the Semi-final bonus regardless of the play-off result.
- Final: the loser scores the Runner-up bonus, the winner scores the Champion bonus.
- Your total: sum of points across both your teams.
